A relatively new unit, these have built in drivers which tell the units to flash, thereby negating the need to fit additional resistor units into the indicator circuits. Having now fitted these units to the bike, I can vouch for the ease of installation, the super brightness of the units compared to the original filament bulbs, and perhaps more important is the instant response to the switch and the fact that these units give a VERY intense colour to the signal that is so much more conspicuous in bright daylight. With an expected lifespan of over 30,000 hours, I doubt they'll ever need replacing and the fact that they draw so much less current should help protect the bike's wiring too. They're very bright and worked well, unfortunately they made the cars computer think the lamps were out.
