However, it does not work both ways. You can use a FlexVolt battery on a 20V tool and charger, but you cannot use a 20V battery on a FlexVolt tool. Be advised that using a 60V FlexVolt battery on a 20V will not allow it to run at 60V, but the AH will triple, so it will have a longer run-time. A 2AH 60V FlexVolt battery will perform like a 6AH 20V battery. **Q: Can you cut metal with this saw.** A: Metal is not recommended. When cutting metal it should be cut with a 3500-3900 rpm metal saw. This saw cuts at 5800 rpm’s @15 amps which will dull the blade and get the saw really hot Remember cut would fast high rpm’s Cut metal slow low rpm’s **Q: cuantas horas puede obtener usando esta cierra y una bateria flexvolt de 9AH?** A: Battery run time may vary depending upon factors including but not limited to charging conditions, usage of tool, storage, environmental conditions, age, etc. Because of these factors, DEWALT is unable to provide a run time. Please contact DEWALT directly for further questions or concerns. **Q: Does it come with a saw blade and what kind of battery does it take** A: Yes, the DCS578B includes 1 blade and uses DEWALT 60V Max Batteries. ## Frequently Bought Together - DEWALT FLEXVOLT 60V MAX* Circular Saw with Brake, 7-1/4-Inch, Tool Only (DCS578B) - DEWALT FLEXVOLT 20V/60V MAX Lithium Ion Battery, 6.0-Ah (DCB606) - DEWALT 20V MAX* Charger, 4-Port, Rapid Charge (DCB104) , Black/Yellow --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.ae/products/199857553-flexvolt-60v-max-circular-saw-with-brake-7-1-4](https://www.desertcart.ae/products/199857553-flexvolt-60v-max-circular-saw-with-brake-7-1-4) --- *Product available on Desertcart United Arab Emirates* *Store origin: AE* *Last updated: 2026-10-20*
