I use it to hold smaller accessories such as pen lasers, my MIOPS trigger, and other photography equipment where I need to position something precisely and have it stay there. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Impressive little piece of tech

This magic arm kit is great - I use it to mount a Sony a6000 shutterless camera with heavy lens onto my monitor arm, to use as a glorified webcam. The locking mechanism feels very sturdy, and capable of holding the camera's weight without flexing or drifting. Note that the included magic clamp, while capable, felt a little small for the pole diameter that I was mounting upon, so I purchased the larger SMALLRIG 7.7lb Super Clamp to use instead, which gripped the larger pole with much more surface area. My only concern is that there is no way to lock the clamp in place, and I worry that with repeated movement, the clamp might loosen over time and eventually fall off the pole, taking my camera and lens with it.
