I have a 1/2 overlay face frame cabinets.** A: Puzzled!! A 1/2" overlay is the standard with simple 3/4 box frame construction. More or less might be a question of aesthetics, and more work. **Q: Will this work on the Oxford door from ikea?** A: My doors were not purchased at IKEA. They were custom made and hinge wells crafted with a router, to my knowledge.
