Took over 12 hours for 650 files. However, on music, it didn't work at all. All the titles and album covers where there, would not transfer the actual music. ### ⭐⭐ Bad implementation *by J***A on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on September 27, 2012* I have used Laplink products for many years, since one of the original early Laplink versions, when it had almost no competition, and when it was the undisputed leader in this segment. I particularly like the USB cable interface option for inter-connecting the two computers to be synched. Laplink Gold had -and still has- a critical flaw for synching files and folders, in that deletions at the source don't replicate at the target computer. Technical support confirmed this critical flaw to me , and told me that Laplink's other product, Laplink Switch & Sync, didn't have this flaw (or design quirk). Therefore, I purchased Switch & Sync, and I have been using it for over a year, and I am sorry to say that the implementation is very bad. The use is not straightforward, the interface is confusing, and in my experience, synching -even when choosing to affect "subdirectories"- acts in an unpredictable way, and it is not a solid and dependable synching tool. Every time I try to use it is a pain, I have to check every single subdirectory to make sure files were synched (they often weren't, when they should have been), and each and every directory requires a separate synching operation, because you can't have just one big pre-defined synching job, as you can with Laplink Gold. I have had other problems and issues over the years that I won't describe in this brief summary. Furthermore, technical support is not very helpful at all, and the products don't seem to be updated nor improved over time in any significant way.
