After replacing the stock (junk) strings with GHS light gauge Precision Flats and doing the fine adjustments on the bridge, you end up with a very playable, good sounding short scale bass. When you add up the total cost (gig bag, strap, bass and strings) you end up with a really nice package for under $250, and that’s my idea of a bargain!
