I would say 99% of the wired mice (I like this plural), come with a standard USB known as USB-A connectors. And yes, you can get small adapters to change the need for an USB-A to USB-C, but they all stick out and become awkward on most laptops. Of course, you can go wireless or even Bluetooth, but if you want a wired mouse that does not invade your workspace, this baby is it! They do include an USB-C to USB-A adapter if needed, but the coolest feature is a natural USB-C end ready to mate with modern laptops. Can also be used on some mobile phones that have USB-C ports to control some functions, although the phones were not made for that feature. It is a responsive mouse and feels good in my (larger) hand and my wife's (smaller) one as well. It's a bit much if the room is dark, but they aren't so obtrusive as to be distracting.
