I purchased an AudioControl D-6.1200 to remedy that issue, however, after literally a few seconds, all AUX sounds (door ajar dings, blinker sounds, fasten seatbelt nags from my passenger not fastening their seatbelt, etc) would vanish. As someone on a DIY car audio forum discovered, it has to be the AC-LGD 20 to restore the sounds in this vehicle (and I'd bet other GM vehicles using a similar audio system) -- the other options in AudioControl's LGD lineup did not work at all.Once installed, it did not interfere with the audio levels at all, so I did not have to change any settings in the D-6.1200's DSP.
