In fact, I have quite a few from this company that have not been ideal. They just haven’t worked out that well for me. The side hooks are just a nightmare for me with an old rotator cuff injury, as well as something about the materials starts to bunch, even for the their model with hooks in the front. Plus the hooks in the front are just too noticeable through my T-shirts. I have had a couple of zippered ones like this one that have actually been my favorite, but the only problem is they don’t flatten my chest creating firmness. I use them because they’re the most comfortable , but I don’t feel nearly as confident when I’m wearing them. I usually only wear them when I’m wearing bigger clothes or something over my shirt, like a coat or vest. This binder is going to be a game changer for me. It seems to be a cross between the ones that work, but are terribly uncomfortable , and/or too difficult to put on, and the ones that are comfortable, easy to put on, but do not flatten or hold my chest firm. Oh and these are easier to zip up than any past zippered binders I’ve used. Really all around amazing for a guy like me. I’m about to order more of these. My only issue with it is that the arm holes were quite tight, but I am just going to make a little notch so the seam isn't quite so tight on my armpit. The quality is really good: great stitching, thick but breathable material, extra thickness across the chest. The zipper up the front makes it easy to get on and off, you can see it kinda of if you wearing a fitted shirt but I don't really ever. My other one with clasps did well enough for a first one, but there was some ah spilling over the top since the compression band was mostly on the bottom. I thought a zip up binder would help even it out and I was right !! Took me a minute to get the zipper working but it zipped up and stayed put!! I was skeptical of the reviews saying it was comfortable, because if there’s anything I know about binders it’s that they are rarely both comfortable and effective, but I’m telling you this is both. I ordered a medium (5’4”, 147 lbs, like a 32B cup idk I forget but around there) and the medium fits great. There is some lifting at the bottom but not much and barely noticeable for me. Make sure to order true to your size. The armpit area didn’t feel uncomfortable at all, but it does flop out a bit so if you’re chubbier be aware of that. The zipper seemed cheap at first but it held on through my yanking and tugging just fine so it’s small yet sturdy. I think it’s definitely worth its price!!! HEADS UP THOUGH: just because it’s comfy doesn’t mean you should wear it for an entire day !! Follow safe binding instructions :) **3 YEAR UPDATE**: After three years the zipper has unfortunately crumbled under the force of my yanking, but it truly held up great in that time period :) I’m sure if you’d rather avoid purchasing another binder, there are ways to mend the zipper yourself!!
