The Perth boat shoe comes ashore in Rockport’s Ports of Call collection. The full-grain leather upper wears well, conforming to the foot over time for a personalized fit, and the padded tongue and collar help protect from excessive rubbing and prevent blisters. To ensure steady footing on land or at sea, a rubber outsole provides durable grip on a variety of surfaces, and a built-in heel cup in the footbed offers medial/lateral heel support.

Review: The only boat shoe worth buying. - A lot of what passes as boat or deck shoes these days are made of a line of leather slapped onto a thin layer of plastic (aka sole) These Perth are properly made. The sole has a middle layer of cushioning and the quality of the outer layer is what you expect from Rockport. The insole is specially crafted and beautifully made, instead of a slice of cheap foam that you find in other deck shoes that cost the same SRP. My only gripe with these shoes is the width. If you are not wide footed you would struggle to wear your size without socks, which is a shame as many would like to wear their deck shoes without socks. Oh, well, there is always the invisible trainer socks if you don't want to cramp your style. Still a 5/5 is what it deserves. If you ever wanted to own a pair of boat shoes, these are the ones.

The sole has a middle layer of cushioning and the quality of the outer layer is what you expect from Rockport. I’m usually a size 9 (43) But they seem to have come up a little tighter than expected, but I’m hoping that they will stretch a little as I break them in (maybe advise buying a half size up than your usual size) Other than that they are a very well made & good value for money deck shoe..!
