It traveled, checked, internationally with me so it was quite a test. I did use suitcase straps around it after seeing the zipper reviews and had no issues. The bottom stand half broke off and we had to pull it off the rest of the way, which is why it loses half a star, but I think I'll be able to fix it with screws later and it really didn't make much difference in its use. It also gets credit because the airport handling broke 2 wheels and the entire bottom corner off my other, more expensive, suitcase, so I think it's amazing this one had so little damage!
