**Q: How does this connect to a 3/8” sinking aeration hose?**
A: This is a replacement part, it is not the entire device.   If you are looking for this diffuser on a base, which you can weight and put in the pond to connect to your weighted airline, you are looking for an MDB11. **Q: Will this work with Alita al-15A?**
A: Thanks for your question. The recommended flow for this Matala diffuser is 25-80 lpm. The Alita AL-15A can only output 20 lpm. Likely this will cause issues with the pump as well as a less than desirable bubble output.  I suggest looking into airstone diffusers around 9" or rubber diffusers closer to 6". Yes the 9" disc pad will be able to handle  up to 80LPM. You may want to look at the following link of the MDB!! which would be the diffuser base and pad.
