The data lasts 30 days max. At first I tried the SIM in an EE wifi hotspot device. But obviously in one of those, there is no way to actually make a call or send a text to activate the SIM and get your data. So I stuck it in my phone to do that part and then moved it back to the hotspot device after activation - which works fine. I can see how this process could be a bit confusing, because it's not really explained very well. But once you know what to do I think it's decent value for what it is. But once you know what to do I think it's decent value for what it is. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect *by G***. on 12 April 2026* Works straight away when fitted to my router in the caravan ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ I am now happy, but there was a BIG PROBLEM to activate the Sim *by R***R on 23 January 2026* I ordered this with the assumption that it had £15 pounds worth of credit when activated. Only it would not activate and just told me there was no credit so I could not set it up. I kept thinking I was doing something wrong because I have a contract phone with EE and its fine and wanted this for someone who is going into hospital for an op and thought it would help. In the end I phoned EE on 150 and spoke to a woman who was great. It appears there is an issue with some Sim cards, in fact it appears she had been at a meeting the day before where this issue was discussed. If seems some Sim cards are getting blocked and not activated and then you cant do a thing and you have to contact EE to get them activated again. Once I gave her all the details she was able to get the Sim up and running and the data limits set to the amount as described. Where I live EE is by far the best option for a mobile phone, and I am now happy with my purchase and I was very happy indeed with the woman I spoke to at EE who sorted out the problems. Had someone not been as helpful and friendly I would have not given this 4 stars.
