Review: Teeny tiny pliable UBS lights that are perfect and bright. - These lights are tiny, but bright! I have an archway in my kitchen and I used blue icicle lights and simply kept them plugged in. I saw these and thought they may work. I. LOVE. THESE. They were a bit of a challenge to unwind as they came coiled. Bit by bit I gently worked it until straight. The wire inside mostly keeps the shape you go for, and that helps but I was concerned about over bending until straight. Wire breaks if "worked" too much, but we are not here for a science lesson. Once I had it untangled, I realized I would be able to do the arch, and then back again. So I did! I started with plenty of slack for the charger (which is standard with a USB port for the wire-think of the possibilities!) and used tiny command hooks. Now, next time, I would alternate the direction the hooks face, one left, one right, repeat all the way. I did that on the top....much better. Since I started with the hooks all facing the kitchen, I had to wine the wire (remember it keeps its shape) around the tiny hooks. No big deal, and when I went back the other way I had room to wind again, since the wire is so thin. The picture here does not do it justice, but it is so neat and tidy I just love it. I wasn't sure if I would like the alternating blue and green but since I love both colors, it works. Now, don't judge my messy house, mkay?
Review: Great for my Village! - I collect mini houses. I keep some of them lit on a little shelf all year long. I used to use Christmas lights. Then I went down to rice lights. When those burnt out I ordered these. These are the best so far. They are exactly as described...very bendy and very small. I also bought a plug with a switch on it so that I wouldn't have to plug and unplug them daily. The DC to AC converter is the only big and slightly ugly thing about the lights. The converter box is maybe 1 inch by 2 1/2 inches, black, and has a green indicator light on it. If your outlet is visible then you have to deal with that. The lights are so tiny they almost disappear and cast really nice light. I have had them about a month now and they are on all day everyday without any troubles. I did not put any 90 degree bends in the wire, but I did some major looping and shaping. The wire keeps the shape you put it in, unlike normal Christmas lights which are hard to work with. I also debated cool white light or warm white light. I went with the cool light...on a flip of a coin...sort of decision. It is a nice true white light. Very broad spectrum, all of the colors of the rainbow are there. I was worried the cool white would be too harsh, but it looks the same color as white Christmas lights to me. I will be ordering more before Christmas for other displays. I really like these.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Not entirely waterproof

These are awesome LED lights. They run on DC voltage, so no flicker at all, which is exactly what I was looking for. I used them for my front yard Christmas lights. I have a couple reservations. First, the package I got last year (2014) was not fully waterproof. I ran them outside in the rain all last year no problem. This year, however, they went out and it was because the power adapter leaked water inside. Since I bought quite a few sets, I just used another adapter and the lights themselves are fine. It is worth noting that the power adapter shown in the picture today looks different than the one I got from HAHOME last year, so maybe they addressed this. The other issue I had is I purchased three cool white sets, and they were not color matched to each other. All three were different from each other. Not that far off, but out of the three I had one was noticeably warmer, and each could be distinguished from each other. But I would agree that all three where a 'cool' white color. I took photos of them in RAW mode with my DSLR, and Photoshop indicated they ranged from 4700K to 6000K. But for my purposes, this wasn't a big issue. All the LEDs on a single string were matched to each other, however. Also, these lights do not use much power at all. The 1.0A adapter is plenty, and I made a splitter and could easily run 5 of them off one adapter. I don't remember what each string used, but I did measure them and I think it was somewhere between 100mA - 200mA each. Different colors may use different amounts of power as well. Overall, I am very satisfied. I made a controller using a microchip that had high frequency PWM to fade and twinkle them, and it worked great.
