I am very sensitive to most products so a lot of products produce some sort of burning and swelling on my lips. Not only does this lip balm, not cause that reaction, but it soothed and healed my lips after a reaction to a different lip balm. I had a mysterious issue with my lips that he didn't even know what it was - splitting, bloody, chapped, and sire. He said he'd never seen it before. So, I got this brand and it went away! I am completely healed! And it hurts so much! I held off for a couple years because of the expense and also I used the Cortibalm first, so I wasn't sure if I should use it, since it has a steroid in it. Well, both works better than Chapstick. I no longer feel I need to use lipstick, which I hated to wear at home. I told my doctor only dark lipstick seems to heal my lips and he didn't know how it was possible. Believe me, I am not a fan of wearing lipstick at home! Dr. Dan's Maintain is better than all other lip balms on the market - all of them. I have tried every single one of them. The reason is is because it stays on the lips. It doesn't dry out or leave the lips. You don't even want to lick it off. It is amazing. I just wish the SPF one was available for outdoor use, so I use it in conjunction with SPF.
