I haven't found another stethoscope with one. It's silent so you don't hear ticking. I've owned a littmans as well, and felt that this may be a quality alternative. I actually like it a bit more as far as sound goes, and the pulse timer is a great benefit. I hate having to wear a watch because of germs, and this eliminates the need. I'm getting a watch and great quality stethoscope for a great price.
