BennieV is right, using an accelerator on CA glue causes an exothermic chemical reaction, in other words, it produces heat. Depending on how much glue I apply to my nails, the amount of heat varies. I have yet to actually burn myself from using CA glue + accelerator, but sometimes it has been hot enough to produce discomfort for a second or two. For most uses, this level of heat is not a problem, but if you get it on your skin, it might be. **Q: does this dry clear?** A: Yes **Q: Does this only come in a spray?** A: This "Accelerator" typically comes in a spray bottle, you should also be able to purchase a refill bottle as well. I'd definitely test if I was using it on unfinished woodwork. A quick wipe with water removes any leftovers.
