I just put this on my sauna floor thinking it was tung oil because it f ing says tung oil on it. But now i have no f ing idea** A: Any container that says Tung oil "finish" is NOT pure tongue oil, but a varnish. the only real question, then, is whether there's a bit of tung oil added to keep it softer than a pure varnish. Any mention of clean up with mineral spirits is a dead giveaway that it's a varnish. **Q: So is this a varnish or is it an oil, and will it work on outdoor eucalyptus furniture?** A: seems more like a varnish than an oil. i didn't like it. **Q: Is this an adequate oil for a danish teak dinner table from the 1950s?
