I think this was a good test. They provided energy, no doubt. That's a plus if that's all you want them for is energy. But if you're thinking of food that provides energy, imo they were passable. I found the taste and mouth feel to be kind of like a warm disgusting Christmas fruitcake we used to sell in high school to fund band trips. I love the concept of getting fructose out of energy bars -- the evidence shows that fructose contributes to visceral fat production in the liver.
