**Q: Doesn't warranty hats we're not allowed to post pictures**
A: It test against the forehead.

**Q: How do you measure hat size ?**
A: I measured my just like Tilley's instructions had said to do. You can use a tape measure (or a length of string that you will have to hold up to a tape measure) to determine the length. Place the string or tape around your head about 1/8 above your ear, across the mid-forehead, completely circling your head. Hold the tape firmly, but not too tightly.

**Q: does it shrink when washed**
A: No, it does not shrink. Looks like new after wash.

**Q: Does this hat have a chin strap string?**
A: Yes it does. Tucks into a pouch in the hat when not in use

Perfect fit, but have to agree with other comments, made my head sweat despite little vents at the top. Would I pay the same amount again???? Probably not
