Entrambi gli utensili hanno manici spessi (ma non troppo, comunque maneggevoli) e robusti; la spatola è perfetta per i pancake ad esempio, mentre per quanto riguarda il cucchiaio apprezzo molto la paletta abbastanza grande, perfetta per mescolare nella pentola o per raccogliere il cibo e assaggiarlo.
