It's pretty quiet for the first 40-60 days and then you need to clean out the dust from the inside. It's much quieter than my previous CoolerMaster SF-19, but I don't think it does as good of a job, to be completely honest. I appreciate the easy-to-clean form factor, but my laptop is an unruly beast and needs more support than this bladeless model can offer at this particular power level. My machine is an MSI GT780 from Nov. 2011 with 24GB of DDR3 ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Could be better, but a good value *by M***S on Reviewed in the United States on June 19, 2013* I love the sleek look of this product. I'd give it an A for style. The cooling function is average. I have a $5 cooler that cools just as well. The bladeless design of this NZXT cooler allows you to actually sit your laptop on your lap, which is nice. The power supply cord has a USB connector on both ends.I'd prefer that the power cord be hardwired in, but this is ok. One end plugs into the USB port on your laptop, and the other plugs into one of three USB charging ports on the cooler. You cannot interface with your laptop through these ports. They are for charging only! Some people have an issue with the noise level of this cooler. Yes, it is louder than some coolers, but I don't have a problem with it. I'm satisfied with the performance versus price.
