Review: Great for kids! - I purchased 15 pairs of these for use in an elementary school nature exploration program, so my experience with them is extensive. Overall, these binoculars do a great job for kids...ESPECIALLY for the younger kids (6 to 7) who need the close eye spacing and easy focusing these binoculars allow. These binoculars have also proven quite durable in the face of accidental drops and less than gentle handling, One tip for using these with younger kids is that they rarely recognize (or say anything) when one eye is out of focus while the other is clear. I is common for one if our eyes to be slightly different than the other, so these binoculars come with a diopter adjustment (the right ocular can be adjusted to correct for that difference). The trouble is that small hands just live to turn dials mindlessly simply because they can! So it’s important to check your child’s binoculars occasionally and reset the adjustment to neutral (so that the focus is even). To do this (because these are too small for most adults), look through the left eyepiece with one eye and use the focusing knob to set your focus on a nearby object. Next, look through the right eyepiece with the same eye and adjust the DIOPTER (by twisting the eyepiece, NOT the focusing knob) to focys the image on the same object as before. This will get the two sides to focus evenly and will make using them MUCH more fun for your child. All that being said, these are a terrific product for kids and a good company to deal with!
Review: Great binoculars for kids, and a great bargain - These are great little binoculars, specially designed for kids. They actually work as well as adult binoculars, but in a much smaller size to fit kids hands and eyes. And they are heavily rubber coated to prevent damage. I had bought my grandson (3) a pair of binoculars at the zoo for $10, and he absolutely loved them, but within 3 days they were broken. So I looked for a better replacement, and for the price of two cheapo pairs, I got this durable, well designed, visually accurate pair. In addition to the great binoculars, you also get a little carry bag that can fit on a belt, and a lens cleaning cloth. It's an amazing deal. I was very happy, and so was my grandson - he carries them everywhere!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great binoculars for kids, and a great bargain

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Big hit with rough and tumble boys; encouraged curiosity and engagement on our nature hikes.
*by A***R on June 8, 2017*

I bought these for my 3 and 5 yo boys for a family hike. The boys are in love. The binoculars are a cinch to operate, provide impressive magnification, are comfortable and are durable. This product made my boys feel like detectives looking for birds or beaver dams or goslings. The binoculars included a case, which makes the boys feel like their binoculars are a special tool, a string so that the binoculars go around their neck and are in easy reach, and a little cloth for cleaning the lenses (again, the "special" factor.) They are easy to use, perfect size for smaller hands and have a rather powerful magnification. They also seem rather rugged, which is perfect for my small boys. I'm glad we bought two, as it would have been a a lot of squabbling if we only had one. We're hoping for several years of enjoyment.
