Review: Shower holder pretty awsome, strong & sturdy😎👍 - I received this product today (25.04.26) & was very happy with it. After experiencing the previous item which was suction cup shower holder, fell 4 times during & after installation so returned item & can honestly say please dont buy that as its poor quality & not long lasting! However, this new product I've now bought is much better in terms of strong & sturdy when the shower is put up on it & just word of advice after screwing the base firmly into the tiles using their screw & raw plug provided - please insert the little blue washer first & then insert the spring afterwards as this makes the holder sturdy & keeps the shower in place to where you want it. The reason is the first time I did this the shower head wasn't sturdy so used physics knowledge working out the pressure at the back which pushes the spring firmly forwards to make it more stronger and safer👍😉So would highly recommend this item & would definitely buy again just as one extra.

**Q: Is this fitting suitable for a shower head that needs to be perpendicular to the wall so the water points down?**
A: Yes

**Q: If the internal slot diameter is 2.2cm, how wide is the opening to that space i.e. the maximum width of a shower hose which can push into the opening?**
A: It should fit a standard Shower head.. it is not extendable for a wider handle i guess or it will sit at the narrowest part. Works fine for me and very sturdy.

**Q: Will it hold a stones head shower?**
A: No it didn’t hold mine.

**Q: Is it possible once this holder is installed to have the shower head at a vertical position ?**
A: Not if the shower head slopes upwards, as in the first illustration on the page.  But possibly if your shower head arm is slightly curved and you Rotate the holder ball+arm to slope down but with the slot facing up, as in the fifth illustration, then the face of the shower head could end up facing forward.   That would be the closest to a vertical position.   Hope this helps!
