It’s easy to set up and it does buzz a little and it is permanently lit up with large bright green lights. Not something for the bedroom! Review: Did not work and no meaningful support - Unfortunately I could not get this product to work or even to start to work e.g. for LEDs to illuminate. The documentation invited me to go to their website and contact them. Unfortunately for consumer products they just point you to a forum. I tried the rather limited suggestions to no avail. I never got as far as applying load to it so it could not have tripped. I checked fuses on the device and they were intact. The product is very simple, hence the low price. There is no LAN connection and no visible diagnostics. It can't send a message when it kicks in. The IEC C14 connectors (Kettle leads) are stiff and difficult when new with no tactile feedback so without any lights on the product, it is difficult to know if you have made the circuit or not. I had because the alarm sounded! My personal view is that it has been paired down to a low price (which in all honesty was why I bought it), which makes it difficult to use. The other difference would be the USB port (for software monitoring) and the data line protection ports. MI has them and LI does not.
