I know some would say it's on the salty side and I could not disagree with that. I however like my rubs on the salty side versus the sweet side. I have been using this on chicken for my stir fry and for also making chicken burritos. I have tried coating the chicken and leaving it in the fridge for a few hours along with coating the chicken and frying immediately. Both produced great results. I even tried using this when making a cheese filled burger. I used two hamburger patties and sandwiched cheese in the middle with a coating of this Yardbird in the middle as well. I got comments that these were the best cheese burgers my guests have ever had and they were just pan fried not grilled.
