Thanks** A: This product is designed to protect and lubricate just about anything. I used mine on a pre-ALclad Cessna which had surface powder erosion on the skin. As long as you don’t overdo it, just a fog code is all it takes. And even if you do overdo it the only damage you’re doing is making a mess. Your mechanic will not thank you when he hast to deal with syrupy goo running out all over. **Q: Can you use on brake drums** A: Do not use in any fashion where the fluid can infiltrate the drum and shoe surface. The bottle is a little big, you only need 1-2 liters Max for a SEL. I will have 3 liters left after doing the wings, tail, empennage and firemwall on my Mooney. If you want to apply it cheap, Harbor Freight sells an engine cleaning gun with an adjustable flow nozzle which will create a nice enough fog to coat the entire plane.
