The case isn't great but it works! - 10/10 exactly what you would expect. the chips are very nice, had no duds and perfect feel. its heavy, the case is probably a 6/10 but everything inside is perfect. honestly ill probably buy another just for the chips. the cards in it are a 8/10 but who cares they are basically free with the chips and case
Review: Very Nicely Made, Well-thought Poker Chip Set - My wife informed me that she read some reviews, saying that the case (at least internally) was of poor quality. I must say that in our case, it certainly is not, so now I wonder if other buys received the product damaged in shipping. I do not know but ours at least, looked beautiful inside, from the internal formed chip holders, to the egg-carton foam topper - it was all in perfect condition. The aluminum case itself is very sturdy, not unlike some of my hand-gun cases, and that is saying a lot, as this set is quite heavy and had to endure shipping, yet arrived in immaculate condition. The quality and weight of the chips is fantastic as well. Overall, I personally, could not be more pleased with this set, especially at this price point. As far as I'm concerned, I am glad to recommend it to others. I'm looking forward to much family fun with this set, along with out full-sized table-top Poker mat. Can't wait. Enjoy!

**Q: Are the chips odorless?**
A: These chips and the whole case are NOT odorless. They smell horrible. I just bought this product and will very likely be returning it. Smells. Horrible. Strong. Smell. Smell. Smellllllly. :(

**Q: Is the top of this case engravable for say, a Groomsmen gift?**
A: I don't think it would stand up to it.  The case is sort of the weak part of this item, with the latches needing to be bent into position to close, and the gauge of the aluminum is very low.  I went and used my fingernail and I can dent the ribbing of the case.

**Q: What is the advantage of buying blank chips vs. ones with $ on them?**
A: My friends and I get to give different chips different amounts depending on how many people play and how big we want the stacks to be compared to blinds.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good quality and great customer support

Pros: Chips are surprisingly nice, considering the price. The dice on the chips are painted on but the white/blue stripes along the edges appear to be plastic molding so the color will not wear off over time. The chips also have decent weight. The supplied dealer and big/small blind chips are of acceptable quality, though the dealer chip is made of a cheap plastic blend with inconsistent coloring (a few small dark streaks). Cons: The case holds up well, but is made of cheap materials. The outside looks aluminum, but after a few uses, I see that it's really just thin, ribbed plastic that's easily dented. I don't know what the internal structure is though; I'm hoping it's metal, but it may be plastic as well. The inside is lined with black felt-like material, looks nice but I imagine after a year or so of use, the fuzz will start coming off. (Though I've used this set twice weekly for about 3 months now and there's no sign of wear) Third case latch in the middle, while it may be necessary, is really awkwardly placed. The handle gets in the way so you have to unlatch it from the side instead of from the bottom (fingernails required). With the handle turned up so that the bottom can be access, the latch does not clear the handle so that doesn't work either. Other thoughts: Not that anyone uses the supplied cards with poker sets, but I'll review them for the curious. The cards are your typical, cheap Chinese brand. The case is misspelled "#96 Glub Special," not sure what a "glub" is. But in the back it says "Club Special"... right underneath "BCG Extra Selected." (Not sure what that means either) As for the cards themselves, they're of good thickness and decent stiffness. Shuffling is not a problem, but because they are completely smooth, unlike Bicycle cards, which have a dimpled finish, there is a lot of friction between cards. I don't know how well these hold up, but they're an okay temporary replacement for when someone forgets the good cards.
