## Questions & Answers

**Q: What is the distance between the spray nozzle and the up pipe? I have a very small sink that needs a high faucet.**
A: The gap between the spray nozzle and the up pipe is 7&1/2". The center to center distance is 9 1/2 " and the distance from the inside edge of the up pipe to the outside edge of the spray nozzle is also 9 1/2"

**Q: Do is have the option to be a spray or a solid stream? I dont see anything on the nozel that would allow the switch?**
A: I have two of these faucets and I love them! To answer your question, there are two buttons on the back side of the nozzle -- the lower button turns on the spray feature, the upper button switches back to solid stream. Easy to use.

**Q: Any comments on a one hole installation? Does it look good?**
A: The only difference between 1 or 3 hole installation is wether or not you use the face plate. The faucet itself looks attractive either way.

**Q: Is the spray head made of metal or is it plastic?**
A: It appears to be a metal exterior with plastic parts inside.

Good Middle of the Road Choice

*by K***S on Reviewed in the United States on July 11, 2014*

Previous faucet broke in what I now dub "The Money Pit." Was looking for a nice looking, but reasonably priced kitchen faucet, if there was such a beast any more. It had been a long while since I had to pay attention to kitchen faucet prices and I was blown away at the $500+ prices for all the quality and style faucets I was liking. As money is a real issue at this time I was a hair's breath from ordering a a Peerless with good reviews, at 1/3 the cost, and had a lot of good reviews. I am glad that I ordered the Pfister Cagney. I ended up seeing the one Peerless I almost got after this faucet came in and was so glad I spent the extra money I didn't have. This is a statement piece and can be used as a focal point in the kitchen, which is great, since I'm going for a very clean minimalist look at the moment. The quality is easily spotted from a distance and the clean lines make it easy for cleaning. I will say that I am very disappointed in the quality of the dispenser. It looks nice, but when you pick it up it is cheap, cheap, cheap. I always have to give it an extra pump or two before it spits out the soap. Definitely will be replacing with a more substantial piece later. As stated clean-up is a breeze due to the clean lines. The stainless steel cleans nicely with just a damp cloth as recommended. The only annoying part is the lever. The lever goes forwards, backwards and out, so when you are giving a quick wipe to the lever and it's base the water turns on full blast. Not a huge deal and I am sure I will get used to it (or take the time to slow down). We did have to purchase different hoses and/or connections, as they were not the right size. What was needed was only a few dollars (thank goodness) and I am pretty sure that the issue was with my plumbing, as everything seems to be an odd size in this house. Some have reviewed that it was slightly difficult to install, but my installer didn't complain and did not even have to use the included tool that comes with the sink. The old faucet was taken out and replaced with the Pfister Cagney Faucet in about 35 minutes. That also includes the time it took the installer to take out the insta-hot water, doing whatever was needed for the dishwasher and giving me back hot water again. I was disappointed that I could not use the decorative plate for the 4 hole sink. Again, this was just one more problem due to custom sizing rather than the faucet. That left one exposed hole, which a cover plate is needed or in my case a well place scrub brush holder hides the open hole perfectly!I did remember another reviewer mentioning it would be wise to use two weights to help the head snap back into place. I was thankful for the suggestion. The faucet head needed to be guided into place when just the one that came with the faucet was on. Not that horrible of a deal, just a few extra seconds; however, after putting on the second weight (one from the old faucet) it quickly recoils and the head usually snaps back into place without needing adjustment. I am thankful to whomever noted that. I would recommend adding the second weight, especially if it is just hanging around on the previous faucet. The faucet swings easily from side to side. It has good water pressure (the old one was horrible) and you can maneuver the lever or position the head easily with an elbow or forearm, if for some reason your hands are a mess or holding something. I particularly like that the the lever could be placed right or left. I'm a lefty and it just so happens, because of how the sink is arranged that the lever on the left gives the area more balance. Nice to have that option.I would definitely recommend this, so far. Easy to install, has the look of a more expensive piece and the quality is good for the price. The installer ended up installing that Peerless I almost chintzed out and went with and he said it was nice for that price, but a world of difference in the quality of all the parts that you don't see. The dispenser and the fact that the lever flips on and startles me every time I go to clean it are the biggest problems and that isn't very much at all. This is the best of both the value world and higher end look with a descent quality... or what passes for "descent" quality nowadays. Will update if any problems occur in the future.

Problem with "sticky" spray button right from the start...eventually button completely failed! PLEASE READ UPDATE AT END!

*by K***K on Reviewed in the United States on December 16, 2017*

I purchased this product in 2015. This product had trouble with the sprayer button getting stuck, leaving the faucet in the spray position despite pushing the stream button. Because we had just had it installed and had other more pressing issues with our whole house remodeling project we decided to pull the button out every time it got stuck thinking we would just "live with i"t. Earlier this week the button completely failed and now cannot even be pulled out. It is stuck in the spray position which is very annoying since I cannot fill up a pot or use the faucet without water splashing all over the place. I contacted Amazon and was told it was outside of their return period so I will be calling the manufacturer first thing Monday morning since the product has a lifetime warranty as long as it is in the house of the original purchaser and the original purchaser still owns the house. I will let you know how the manufacturer responds. With several review on here with the same problem, I am assuming this is not their first rodeo with this problem. This is my first time buying this brand and depending on the response I get from the manufacturer it may be my last. We shall see!*** UPDATE***: i would like to update this review and say that I called Pfister's customer service department and true to their word, it has a lifetime guarantee as long as the faucet is still installed in the same house it was originally purchased for. At the time I called, the color that I needed was on backorder and would not be arriving for three weeks. Pfister kindly offered to "overnight" on in another color of my choice to be used until such time as the desired color arrived back in stock. I thought this was a very kind gesture on their part in acommodating my inconvenience. Since my faucet was still working (just stuck on spray option) I said that would not be necessary and that I would wait for the arrival of the correct color. In three weeks the item arrived just as Pfister said it would. It was as easy as unscrewing the faucet head from the hose and screwing the new one on. Please make sure that you only hand tighten the faucet head. Do not use a tool to tighten it. It is not necessary. It will not leak.My experience was so unusually pleasant when dealing with replacing the faucet head that I am now a huge fan of this company and will be purchasing their products in the future. Customer service is everything to me and probably to most. Customer service is everything to me and probably to most. Pfister customer service more than exceeded my expectations. I could not ask for more! MY REVIEW HAS BEEN UPDATED FROM ONE STAR TO FIVE STARS!

These was pretty straightforward to install (I'm fairly handy)

These was pretty straightforward to install (I'm fairly handy). The hardest part was removing the old faucet due to the tight space -- squeezing under the pvc pipes, on my back and can't see too well. I installed without the cover on a silgranit sink. I ended up with two exposed holes which I covered with plugs. Because my sink is really sink it was super hard to get the faucet tight. They give you this plastic tool but I needed it to be about 4" longer. I ended up using a small hex key to help turn the tool in a very tight space. I'm sure a plumber has a specialized tool to make it a snap. I'm not sold on the pfister style push connectors for hot/cold. The seem somewhat fickle, but no leaks. We'll see in 10 years. But they are super easy to connect in tight space. The weight they give you for the hose is not 100% effective in retracting the head but seriously not a problem thereThe quality of the faucet appears to be very good so far. The handle has a nice feel and I don't see any plastic on the unit. Having the spray function on the main faucet is convenient and I find I use it quite often. The only thing I don't like so far is pulling on the faucet head to detach the hose requires some force. It feels like it's going to work the base of the faucet loose over time.BTW, the handle comes close to hitting the backsplash. I measured it as 2 3/4" from the center of the faucet. I guess it could always be turned 90 degrees if there was not enough clearance.
