This panel allows us to have access from my daughter’s bedroom. It isn’t the prettiest, so likely we will cover it with a picture. I am thinking of painting it to match the wall. Has anyone tried it? But this is sturdy. We had to provide our own screws to screw it into the wood on either side of the opening. We had to carefully cut the opening to make sure it would fit properly. It too my son less than 10 minutes to complete the process with about 20 minutes of careful marking and measuring. Remember, measure twice.. it went in beautifully. Review: Excellent access door - I used this to access electrical wiring that I eventually want to replace. I opened up the drywall to check in on the wiring and used this access door for permanent access. It fits perfectly between my ceiling joists and I like how much more sturdy this is than the butterfly clip style that only use tension to mount. ## Features - Acudor - ED-2002 - Flush Universal Access Doors - White ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B004E7GEG4 | | Best Sellers Rank | #300,695 in Patio, Lawn & Garden ( See Top 100 in Patio, Lawn & Garden ) #243 in Outdoor Kitchen Access Doors | | Brand | Acudor | | Brand Name | Acudor | | Color | White | | Customer Reviews | 4.4 out of 5 stars 131 Reviews | | Included Components | Panel | | Item Type Name | Acudor ED-2002 14" x 14" Flush Access Door, White (1) | | Item Weight | 4.4 pounds | | Manufacturer | Acudor | | Manufacturer Part Number | ED-2002 (11939) | | Material | Stainless Steel | | Material Type | Stainless Steel | | Model Number | ACUDOR - ED-2002-14x14 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Style | 14-14 | | Style Name | 14-14 | | UPC | 795400993051 617561934356 | ## Images ![Acudor ED-2002 14" x 14" Flush Access Door, White (1) - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/31HsvgT28jL.jpg) ![Acudor ED-2002 14" x 14" Flush Access Door, White (1) - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/31xf-Zkrj2L.jpg) ![Acudor ED-2002 14" x 14" Flush Access Door, White (1) - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41h+RfaHoiL.jpg) ![Acudor ED-2002 14" x 14" Flush Access Door, White (1) - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/319fnRDQ-tL.jpg) ![Acudor ED-2002 14" x 14" Flush Access Door, White (1) - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41P1F5MM7+L.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: what is the exact dimention of the opening?** A: Hello, Thank you for your inquiry!
