As I understand them, they are specifically designed and formulated for airbrushing, and so are very thin to try to apply with a brush. Their color fidelity appears accurate when compared to my references, and they cover the models well and easily. They are, in fact, no pricier per ounce or milliliter than any of the competition and are readily available through dealers and the internet. I would however state that they work well with the Vallejo brands of thinner and flow improver; I have no idea of how compatible these paints are with other brands of thinners or flow improvers. For me, they're a pleasure to work with.
