A: Hi, the heavier gloves do not mean that there is a difference in the size, the inner compartment is almost the same but the weight varies due to outer padding, 10 oz is heavier then 8z so the 10oz and 12 oz.if you are looking for training purpose then we will suggest you to go for 12 oz , these are lighter in weight and best for training purpose

I use these all the time for pad-work in kickboxing classes. They are comfy, easy to put on and protect my thumb and hand just fine. Provides the right support for dialling in upper-cut and hook punches. I'll be using these for sparring soon.
