I need some for practicing with my revolver using moon clips. The tiptons were not the correct size.** A: There are minor differences. I used a calipher to measure both a snap cap and a live 9mm RN round. The 9mm snap cap measure OAL = 1.1625" (29.53mm), rim diameter = 0.384" (9.75mm) and rim thickness = .059" (1.49mm).The real 9mm round nose measures = OAL 1.158" (29.42mm), rim diameter 0.3885" (9.87mm) and rim thickness 0.049" (1.25"). I do not have any 9mm moon clips to test the snap cap into a revolver. They work well in a semi-auto pistol. I do not like the fact that they are much too similar in appearance to a live round. The weight and color almost the same as a real round. Be very careful and do not mix any snap caps with real rounds. **Q: Are these 9x21 mm or 9 parabellum? need to use them in my beretta 98fs, not in a glock or other smaller 9mm pistols.** A: These are 9mm Luger/9mm Parabellum. They are solid brass and as such, they can be filed and/or polished a little if need be (and if you are so inclined).
