The one I purchased is an almost exact replacement for the original power adapter that came with my Netgear Router. I'm one of those that ascribes to the theory that, just because the power supply went out, do not throw away a $ 80.00 router that is functioning perfectly. So, if you are looking for a power adapter for a Netgear WebSafe RP416 v4 router? This one most definitely works. (Since this router is no longer available, those that know will understand the implied benefits of keeping it working.) My previous power adapter was function perfectly and didn't fail as much as was rendered useless by Grandkids playful antics accomplished failure. I'm sure there are those that have had to deal with similar situations.
