The Logitech Harmony Elite universal remote control kit includes the hub, remote and smartphone app for controlling home entertainment devices.

Review: Works great and easy to setup. - Already own this product but gave it to parents because the non hub version I had previously purchased them caused activity issues only because parent liked to press the activity then watch the remote screen and not keep remote in line of sight of A/V equipment, this caused this parent to have to hit the help button everyday to initiate the activity. I traded this purchased model with them because the remote did not have to have line of sight with hub and the hub had IR extenders. Problem resolved and and both parents have lived a consecutive two year happy A/V life. I decided to upgrade myself back to this version recently due to fact I'm tired of having a roku remote separately than my older harmony that only works with IR devices. Added bonus but not selling point I can sync remote with the rest of our smart home devices such as lights and blind controls.

**Q: If my hub goes bad can I purchase new hub and use harmony controller**
A: I don’t think you can buy the hub without a remote. The good news is you can use your existing remote by pairing it with your new hub. Then you'll have two remotes which can prove to be convenient.

**Q: How is remote programmed ?**
A: You download the Harmony app.
You then connect the hub to the remote and the app by Bluetooth.
You then add your devices ( TV, Apple TV Firestick, etc) in the app
You then set up a function ( watch TV, watch Apple TV, listen to music, etc.)
You set up the sequence of devices to start and inputs required ( HDMI 1 etc.)
Save the function in the app, sync the remote and go
