This is for the Xbox series x controller so every controller my be different.When the slider is in the full "locked" position it is literally useless. The controller doesn't register any input. On the unlocked position it feels just like your standard triggers. The magic happens when you put it halfway between locked and unlocked.I have had trigger locks for my previous Xbox. These feel exactly the same when in the half way position. It registers fine and there hasn't been any sliding of the locks with hours of gameplay on them.Yes the color isn't pretty, and it does feel like a cheaper product. Remember it is CHEAP and there will most likely be oyher brands in the future.
