I believe any other iPhone or android would likely fit. However, the headset isn't the problem, its the apps dedicated to the VR games and videos that are the problem. I don't know if it's the new updates for the "iOS" or if the apps aren't compatible with older iPhones and iOS 14 or 15 updates, but most the games I had downloaded would glitch, and just weren't working properly.
