We’ve had them ever since!!! I thought they were mosquitoes at first. It does provide high pressure and non-wet steam! One has to hold it very close to items to not scatter the bugs. I am treating things heavily so I do have to wait for it to build up pressure at times but considering this product arrived immediately to start treatment before they become a gigantic problem! I did have questions at first, and I talk to a nice Italian lady located in Los Angeles. She was very helpful and referred me to a product specialist but I did not need to use that service. I think I could also treat wrinkles in clothes. I want to mention that it does take about 25 minutes to build up pressure but you could get other items ready to be steamed as you’re waiting. I put it in about 4 cups of distilled water and that did last me a few hours. You do have to wait for the thing to cool off to add more water which was not really a problem. It had some work arounds - but I don’t care. I’m killing the bugs!! Well worth the $1400 cost which you would pay an exterminator more and I can do this over and over again now. It also can clean floors, etc! There was a couple things that bothered me that everywhere on the box mentions that it is for bedbugs and that was very embarrassing as we have a UPS mailbox. Also, you cannot order attachments sets at this time on desertcart. You would have to go to the company website. Oh well, I guess I will steam clean my carpets in the future and will order that attachment set by the way I am steam cleaning the carpets now but maybe using a brush attachment,, would make it treat the carpet deeper I think. One other thing this is just one way of many that I am deep treating our place. I am also using a propane heater and a remote laxer temperature, diatomaceous earth, bedbug spray, foggers at hot water washing, and of course the dryer! You Must treat these bugs in a comprehensive manner. I am already seeing results. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Review *by E***Z on 1 February 2026* Update - 2/3/26 : Machine is stuck in the fire position, in other words - always steaming Not sure if the faulty safety switch or something wrong with the trigger.. Annoying because it takes forever to just stop it. Updated to 3 stars, what’s the point if I can’t get it to steam when I need it , or it runs the full tank because its always just steaming... Original - As a non professional, who had no choice and had to destroy these little suckers, I purchased the eradicator and am quite happy. You can really feel the difference in heat in comparison to other steamers. The little supplied gloves do nothing for the steam that sometimes comes around your hands and arms when getting close to something while steaming…so you definitely need some heavy duty thermal or silicone gloves. The unit heats up relatively quickly steam is plentiful and gets into all the creases…although I do notice, it needs a minute after steaming for a a minute to keep the amount of steam at full volume. My biggest complaint is the locking mechanism on the gun itself. I’ve read the manual and there's no mention of the little switch and correct use, but the button is almost always inadvertently being activated, and the unit gets “stuck” in the firing position shooting steam, where it’s almost impossible to get it to stop. I’ve included a video as an example…it can get quite annoying. Considering I have to use thicker silicone gloves to not burn myself, I find myself always inadvertently firing steam when moving the gun. Overall good machine.
