Is the other one being shipped?** A: Contact the supplier and complain to Amazon. **Q: Why do they send expired jars that are not returnable?** A: Never had that happen but if it did, they would most certainly exchange it for me. **Q: is it hot or sour ?** A: It is not hot and, like all mustard, is somewhat sour. Meaux mustard has been around for a long, long time. I like it and hope you will as well. The unique thing about it is that it contains whole mustard seed. **Q: Mine arrived leaking and there is no return policy. How will you rectify this?** A: Mine also had problems in shipping. Three of the four jars were broken and the other leaked slightly but was salvageable. I have used this brand at least 20 years. Gritty, robust, and perfect for concocting French salad dressing.I hadn't had it for a while, and ordered the small crock. Well, I finished that off pretty fast. So, I bought the big one. Have never found an alternative US or French dressing to compare.The corked lid has been replace by a plastic one which is a bit harder to remove. Definitely the best mustard I've ever tried. I'm not even a real mustard fanatic. I just love this mustard. Put it on cold cuts. Mix it into salad dressings. Use it on sandwiches. It's excellent, eye-opening mustard. The texture is astonishing, the flavor is bright and sharp and fine, and it brings out the flavor of whatever it is eaten with. Especially great on roast beef sandwiches, and you may well find it indispensable with pork or ham.I don't know if I'll be able to order it from Amazon, though; they sent me the wrong variety by mistake (a super-hot "Fireman" variety with hot-pepper juice in it) and it'd leaked in transit because it wasn't protected in shipping. They were super-cool about the mistake and made things right by me as a customer, but that doesn't make me trust them enough to order it again--opening the shipping box made me realize that there's a reason mustard gas is considered so bad!
