Have used on everything from sweaters the sweat pants. **Q: Will this work on loose knit sweaters without damaging it?** A: It worked for me on a loose knit cashmere scarf. I lay the scarf flat on my dining room table and it works great. **Q: Does it remove dog hair?** A: In my opinion, you may need to use a sticky faced lint roller made by 3M company sold at most any dollar store outlets. The lint remover works mostly on tiny balls of lint on fabric from washing the item.
