My dog has health conditions that make her predisposed to UTIs and diabetes so i find these keep anxiety in check. I recommend these if you want yo check to see if they need to go to the vet or not. Readings are pretty accurate..or as accurate as they can be without a glucose monitor or a bacteria/culture test.

How cruel so we went another route. This kit saved her from all of that. Easy to use and recommended by vets. The contents is a type of sand that keeps the urine floating so a syringe can draw it up and can be placed on a test strip. The strip checks for 10 different diagnosis. Come to find out all tests were negative and the needle never touched her. Plus I saved $100. Because the procedure was no longer needed. Best thing ever!

A: Fully submerge the testing strip square into a urine sample for 2 seconds. After waiting exactly 60 seconds depending on the parameter, compare your color result next to the color legend to identify your result.

**Q: What is the best way to read the results card?**
A: Because the colors on the testing strip continuously change, we recommend circling the color that is present on the card at the designated reading time.

**Q: What happens if I don't read the result on time?**
A: Your kit includes 50 identical testing strips, please conduct the test again.

**Q: What's the difference between the presence of glucose in the urine and high blood sugar?**
A: High blood sugar indicate an excess of glucose in the bloodstream as the body struggles to regulate blood sugar levels, while the presence of Glucose in the urine can be due to high blood sugar OR kidney issues and other issues.

**Q: what does positive Specific Gravity means?**
A: The SG value is measured against water so unless we are measuring SG in water the value will always be greater than 0, so a value of 1.0 is the minimum value for urine.
