The package also include a Windscreen cover for your headset mic which is always nice to have a backup in case the windscreen on your mic currently ever falls off and gets lost (which they always seem to do.) As for the Talkback cable, you should already be familiar with the on/off switch and the chat volume control dial. So if you have any trouble with your audio coming through your headset, it may just be your Talkback cable not working anymore. This is extremely affordable and well worth the money rather than buying a brand new headset all together. I noticed another review that mentioned the jacks were labled wrong and that the cable did not work, but my cable came the same way and I just hooked it up correctly to find that it worked perfect.
