I've only had mine for about a month, but I use it all day. I'm a quilter and am constantly pressing. I love the fact that it's 1800 watts. It get creases out better than any other iron I have ever had. I think you'll be very pleased with it. **Q: Does this iron produce steam on every setting?** A: No, I had mine replaced after only a week of use. I emailed the company and was told to only use steam on 5 and higher settings. My new one seems to be much better. I've only used it 3 days now but have had no leaks so far. I really like the weight of the unit and how hot it gets. I'm just one of those people who use a iron daily and can't stand for them to dump huge amounts of water all over my clothes. **Q: I like this iron but is there a way to turn off the auto shut off feature--quilters go back & forth to iron & have to wait to reheat-suggestions?** A: I'm a quilter and it reheats super fast. I like the auto shut off, just in case I leave the room for a bit, I wouldn't want it to stay on continually, I like the safety feature. Most all irons do this, except the travel irons. I love my Beautural Iron. **Q: does it have burst of steam?** A: Yes it does. It works well to get out those stubborn wrinkles. I sew with upholstery fabric quite often and when it gets wrinkled, they're hard to get out. Right out of the box, it impressed me. This is my first iron that has an LCD display. I plugged it in and the display made it easy to set the iron to the correct setting. This is a very nice feature. After I started ironing the difference was immediately noticeable compared to irons that I've used in the past that were 1200-1500 watts. The 1800 watts causes the temperature to remain consistent and it adjust smoothly for each type of fabric. It has a solid, comfortable weight, excellent steam output, and is very easy to handle. I also appreciate the rubberized grip when the iron rests on its heel. It has automatic shut-off for when you may forget to turn it off. Overall, I highly recommend this iron.
