However this is my 3rd order and the bottles are different. Did they change the packaging?** A: They changed packaging and the formula. This new extra-strength serum is thinner it doesn't do the same as the original extra-strength serum. I use all the frizz ease products for many yrs. I use the coconut shampoo,coconut conditioner & Hair Spray & the extra strength serum. I have naturally curly long hair I blow dry in the winter or let it dry naturally in the summer. I really wish Jon Frieder would bring back the original extra-strength serum formula because this new one doesn't do the job and I'm very disappointed. **Q: Is this the old formula with silk or the new one with bamboo?** A: It is made with silk. There is no mention of bamboo at all on the bottle. **Q: Some pics on amazon are not reflecting actual product as the manufacturer has changed ingredients again. is this w/bamboo or the new one w/argan oil?** A: I do not know what these chemicals are but the product works well on my hair. **Q: I ordered this. What didn't I get the bamboo extract like the picture? I have naturally dark brown hair that is dyed a golden blonde. After I get out of the shower and it is damp, not dripping wet but damp, I put 2 or 3 pumps in one side of my hair and 2 or 3 pumps into the other side of my hair and I let it air dry the rest of the way and I get a nice not frizzy looking naturally wavy look and even when I brush it, it still looks good. If I decide to straighten my hair then I do the same thing, let air dry, brush it, then straighten and this stuff really protects your hair and makes is feel very smooth and soft without weighing it down and it feeling heavy. I also use a Frizz Ease heat protecting spray before I straighten with heat as well. This stuff is a bit pricey and it's a small amount that you get but it's worth it to protect your hair and this stuff is the best that I've tried so it doesn't bother me. One bottle last me a couple months using it twice a week, not to bad. I do find myself using more of it every time because of how much I like it and it's easy to do, so if you don't want to go through it as fast try to only use 1 or 2 pumps for each side of your head for short a medium length, and 2 or 3 pumps for medium to long hair.
