The canteen that was sent actually has "made in USA" written on it, I've bought this type of canteen before and it didn't have it written, and is of a slightly different shape, material and colour. So there seems to be a bit of an inconsistency when it comes to the canteens. The pouch is fully functional with a small side pocket, it is worn out but it works. I actually like it being worn, it adds character. Alice clips work very well.
