What I noticed is that the Venturi thats connected on the SP B channel is more louder than the Formula ones on SP A. Originally I had the setup with the 2 Formula only and sounded good, adding the Venturi it did made the whole sound a bit louder considering sound now comes from 4 speakers so i have to dial down from the usual 60% to sometimes 50% on the volume knob. I dont care for more loudness, I was more curious if the receiver can handle 4 speakers at once and it does just the channel SP A loses little power but the overall package of 4 speakers besides getting louder it filled up the room with much richer sound vs having only 2 speakers. I got the Venturi speakers for $30 of local listings and they look new, so i added couple of fans on top of the Yamaha just in case it heats up a lot. The 2 speakers and 2 fans cost me $45 in total and well worth upgrade, no complaints from the Yamaha RS201 I have been having it for almost 10 years and works as it should. **Q: What is the Bluetooth range** A: It’s not very far…. I purchased a separate Bluetooth extender and now have 300 ft range **Q: can i hook up my turmtable as well?** A: I have a question more than answer. My turntable is the rather cheap, ION LP mp3 converter, it has a built in preamp, has a pair of red white RCA output. BUT, WHEN I PLUG IT INTO THE #3 RCA PORT, AS INDICATED ON THE PRODUCT PAGE FOR TURNTABLE, the speakers have no sound. Now, my "speaker" is a Yamaha HS5 monitor, it's hooked to the OUT RCA port via a 1/4" jack at the back of the monitor. I suppose I'll have to use proper hi-fi speakers connected via the loose wire ports? **Q: Even though there is no subwoofer output, can one be connected anyway?** A: You can just run the bare speaker wire to the input on the subwoofer. Most subwoofers have a high level speaker wire input and output. Run the output wires to your REAR satalight speakers so they don't have to produce the lower tones anyways. You can then use the frequency knob to adjust the output cut off level. Run it at about 80 to 100 kh. Should be fine. Run bigger towers up front with no subwoofer. There ya go. Works perfectly this way. Lo utilizó con dos bafles de tres vías a 6 ohms de 300 wats y los levanta sin problema, no llego a utilizar toda la potencia lo utilizo como al 60 o 70% de su potencia y es suficiente para llenar una sala de 40 mt2. Su sonido es muy claro y limpio, en frecuencias bajas, medios, altas y sin distorsión. Hago énfasis en que estos resultados los obtengo por el procesador de audio o preamplificador y la calidad de los bafles con bocinas eminence. El amplificador Yamaha solo lo uso de pasó no utilizo funciones como Bluetooth o el sintonizador de radio por lo tanto en ese tema no tengo opinión. Resulta muy económico su precio es muy accesible y es posible obtener resultados de alta fidelidad comparables con equipos de mayor precio. Definitivamente lo recomiendo!
