I was trying far to complicated of a design and never even made it to the drying phase. I have since been looking for books to gain the knowledge I need to try again. I wish I had purchased this book first. I purchased a much more thorough book which I love, but realize that it quickly moves past beginner levels and I found myself in over my head again. This book was suggested by Amazon a few days later and I purchased it on a whim. While I still haven't had a chance to work with the clay again, this time I feel fully prepared for what's to come. This book is highly educational while not burdening you with little tidbits of information that will help after you become proficient but seem to overwhelm in the meantime.
