This huge container should keep me for awhile! Argo is double-acting baking powder and it IS aluminum free (for those of us who care!).[In case you are wondering why it is important to use Aluminum free, it is a taste issue. If you have ever experienced baked goods with a bit of a metallic or tinny taste - it was probably the aluminum in your leavening agent. There *may* also be health reasons not to use baking powder with aluminum in it, but this doesn't seem to be definitively proved]While some will tell you to buy the smallest package of BP you can so it stays fresh, I haven't had any issues with mine losing its freshness. Screw the lid closed and if you manage to throw it on the floor, step on it and break it (guess who did THAT!), then store it in a tightly zipped zippy bag!OK - enough of that... bottom line is, this is my preferred baking powder, I use it all the time, and I'm delighted to have found a huge container of it!Go bake something now, y'hear? ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best baking powder!! I switched to Argo, and bought the huge size. I was impressed with the plastic container with screw on lid, the size of the container and the way it bakes. I notice no difference in the rise on any of my baked items. Now I have peace of mind that I am not contributing to future health problems.
