## Description

Sparks fly when the Titan Fire Striker is used with its stainless steel striker. This fire starter has many uses and can ignite tinder or be used to light a campfire, gas stove or gas barbeque. The robust Ferrocerium rod is capable of 20, 000 strikes (at 5400 degrees F) in all conditions (at all altitudes and in cold weather). It also comes with a stainless steel striker which also is a multifunctional survival tool with 8 functions. Functions include screwdriver, bottle opener, 4 hex sizes and striker. The bright sparks from the Fire Striker can also be used as an emergency signal. Finally it's all held together with a Paracord lanyard connected to both pieces with a Rapid Release Connector.

Review: Works - It does light up the fuel after a few sparks but I'd opt for a softer material instead to make more sparks as this material is hard and requires really strong force and experience to be able to make sparks
Review: Extremely easy to use - I bought this thinking it would be "neat" to be able to start a fire in cold conditions without the need of a match or lighter. I also understood that it was not easy to start fires this way and I would need to practice. It could not be easier. A little pile of dry tinder, three strikes with the scraper, and I had a fire. Only thing I would change is the mini carabiner that holds the scraper to the lanyard. Great idea, terrible execution.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ LONGLASTING POTENTIAL FERRO ROD

Quite a large ferro rod which I prefer and the striker piece is nicely spined for producing good sparks. I always replace the attachment cords on these sets with high quality paracord and then it's good to go. Usual scraping required for the protective coating before use. Robust and good value.
