Review: Strong and Reliable Chain Connector Link - My daughter’s bike would no longer switch gears properly so I removed the rear derail mechanism and jockey wheel and converted it to a single gear bike instead of junking it. To accomplish this, the chain needed to be shortened so I cut it to the correct length and used this connector link to complete the chain, tightened everything up and it worked like a charm. The connection was strong and it held together perfectly. The bike has since been retired but the chain remains intact and the link never broke. If you know what this is and you need one, this will do the job.
